David Goldblatt

David Goldblatt (1930-) Nasceu em Randfontein, Gauteng Province, África do Sul. Graduou-se pela Univeristy of the Witwatersrand em Comércio. Iniciou sua carreira em 1948 documentando em preto e branco a vida na África do Sul durante o apartheid até os dias de hoje. Retratos e paisagens são seus temas preferidos. Participou da Documenta de Kassel e da Bienal de Veenza. Vive e trabalha em Joanesburgo. É representado pela Marian Goodman Gallery.
