Pieter de Hooch


Pieter de Hooch (1629-1684) Nasceu em Roterdã. Um dos maiores nomes da pintura de gênero da Escola de Delft na Holanda. Trabalhou em Roterdã, Delft e Amsterdam. Foi contemporâneo de Vermeer. Morreu insano num hospício. Há 84 pinturas atribuídas a ele. Self-Portrait, 1648-1649. Rijksmuseum, Amsterdã.
